Consultation Hold
Three Way Conference
Call Transfer
These three features work together. Consultation Hold allows the
transferring party to talk privately with the destination before transferring the call, or
establishing a Three Way Conference. These features are activated by pressing the
Conference key.
Hunting
A call completion feature that searches for an idle line to complete a
call. The available lines can be defined in a hunt group. Three types of hunting are
available:
- DHN - Directory Number Hunting
- MLH - Multi-line Hunting
- DLH - Distributed Line Hunting
Call Forwarding
This feature eliminates unanswered calls by forwarding calls that are
not answered within a specified number of ringing cycles to a pre-programmed destination.
- CFB - Call Forward Busy
- CFD - Call Forward No Answer
- CFW - Call Forward
- CFD unrestricted - Call Forward No Answer - unrestricted
Call Hold
This feature allows the user to hold a call manually on the loop by
pressing the Hold key and perform other tasks, originate another call, call pickup, etc.
Call Pickup
Call Pickup allows a station to answer calls incoming to another station
within a predetermined call pickup group. Call Pickup is activated by pressing the Call
Pickup key.
Speed Call
This feature allows a user to place calls to a previously designated
list of frequently dialed numbers. This is activated by dialing a speed calling code or
pressing the Speed Call key. Short lists consists of a maximum of 8 stored numbers. Long
lists consists of a maximum of 70 stored numbers.
Ring Again
This feature allows the user to monitor a busy DN (directory number) and
notify the user when the called station becomes free. When the busy line becomes free, the
user is notified by a notification tone and the flashing of the Ring Again indicator. Ring
Again is activated by pressing the Ring Again key upon hearing the busy tone.
Call Waiting
With this feature an incoming call encountering a busy Meridian
business set receives ringing while the called station receives call waiting notification
consisting of two bursts of buzz tone (optional) or the call waiting lamp will flash. Call
Waiting is activated by pressing the Call Waiting key. This will connect you to the new
party calling and place the other on hold.
Automatic Line
This feature can be assigned to individual stations and when a station
goes off hook (for a predetermined time limit) a connection is automatically established
to a predetermined location.
Call Park
Direct Call Park
This feature is used to park a call against his/her directory number or
another station number. The parked call can be retrieved by any station. This feature is
activated by pressing the Call Park key.
Last Number Redial
This feature enables the user to redial the last number called from the
set. This feature is activated by pressing a single key or a designated access code.
Station to Station Calling
This feature allows calls to other stations without the use of an
attendant by dialing a two through seven digit number.
Paging Access
This feature allows you to access an stand alone paging system.
Conference 6
This feature allows activation of up to 6 conferees to be added on
conference calls. This feature is activated by pressing the conference key each time a
conferee is added.
Make Set Busy
This feature allows a station to be inactive and all incoming calls to
receive a busy signal. This feature is activated by pressing the busy key. |
