Job Type: Full-time, hourly.

Hours:  M-F 8:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Hours per Week:

  • Full-time, hourly; Hours will primarily consist of M-F 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. with occasional nights and weekends due
    to community events.

In this role, you will support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to build brand
awareness, increase customer acquisition and engage the communities we serve. Are you a social media

Core Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications

  • Develop and execute content strategies that foster engagement across social media channels, including
    Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Create a detailed monthly social media content calendar.
  • Use social media to personalize the South Slope brand, highlight differentiators and grow customer
  • Analyze social media engagement using KPI dashboard to identify high-performing posts and
    opportunities for improvement.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Support the execution and delivery of marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, retain customers
    and attract new customers.
  •  Develop engaging content for customer enewsletters and blogs.
  •  Manage esports program including engaging with schools and developing creative ways to connect with
  • Produce videos using Canva or Adobe Premiere for digital signage and social media.
  • Design collateral and social media graphics.

Event Support

  •  Promote and represent South Slope at community events such as festivals and parades.
  • Develop creative ways to engage customers and prospects at community events and South Slope events.
  • Manage grant program including writing letters of support, coordinating presentations and writing press
  • Help plan the South Slope Annual Meeting and assist the Spirit Committee with employee events.
  • Manage promotional items inventory.
  • Occasionally coordinate Community Center events including giving tours, taking payments and managing


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field preferred.



  • Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in social media management.
  • Understanding of graphic design fundamentals and/or design experience.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for creating compelling content.
  • Familiarity with photography and video production

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in an office setting. Must have the ability to stand and sit continuously. Must be
able to operate office equipment including a computer/laptop, calculator, fax machine, scanner,
telephone etc. Must work occasionally outdoors due to community events.

This position requires occasional driving.


  • Must posess and maintain valid driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
