South Slope Announces Local Scholarship Winners

South Slope Cooperative Communications Company is proud to announce local scholarship winners.

Jacob Heit, a Benton Community High School senior, won a $3,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with South Slope Cooperative Communications, to attend the University of Iowa. The Aureon Scholarship Program supports students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Anna Fox, a Clear Creek Amana High School senior, is receiving a $2,000 Aureon Scholarship in partnership with South Slope Cooperative Communications, to attend the University of Iowa.

Samantha Rabe, a Benton Community High School senior, won a $400 South Slope Scholarship in the Benton Dollars for Scholars program. South Slope has been a support of the Benton Scholarship Foundation since 2004.

South Slope CEO, Chuck Deisbeck, stated, “At South Slope we are proud to support these outstanding Iowa students for their many achievements by partnering with these scholarship programs. Just as we invest in building networks to keep communities connected, it is also vital we invest in our future leaders.”
